Meet the Artist
I was drawn to glassblowing at age 16, after taking a class in Phoenix, AZ. I quickly began an apprenticeship to a local artist, working nights and weekends in the hotshop to learn the craft while attending college by day, and later teaching. In 2019, I moved to Vermont and began working full time in a production glass factory to further refine my skills; at the same time I debuted my first season as the co-owner/operator of The Art of Glass at the Arizona Renaissance Festival. In 2023, I left the world of production glass to launch Molten Light Glassworks from my newly acquired studio in scenic Burlington, Vermont. The same year I added King Richard’s Faire in Massachusetts as another Art of Glass location.
I enjoy pushing the limits of my skills to create new and challenging works of glass, as well as demonstrating the art of glassblowing for the public. You can see me and my work in Gold Canyon, AZ from February-April at the AZRF and Carver, MA from September-October at KRF. The rest of the year I can be found at my home shop in Burlington, VT, where I make my works and teach glassblowing lessons—harkening back to that first class I took all those years ago—in the hopes I can inspire the next generation of glass artists.
I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to all those who have supported me along my journey in glass: friends, mentors, family, and clients. I am truly humbled to be able to do the thing I love most for a living, and would never have succeeded without the love of all of you. You have my enduring thanks.
